VF8 is offered with 02 electric motor version options including: The premium version (Plus) is equipped with 02 electric motors producing a maximum capacity of 402 horsepower and maximum torque of 640 Nm. from 0-100km/h in 5.5s, 1s faster than the senior Vinfast VF9.

The standard version is equipped with a permanent magnet electric motor with a capacity of 204 horsepower and maximum torque of 320 Nm. Both battery versions have a capacity of 90 kWh and full-time 4-wheel drive. The distance traveled after each full charge is 460km and 510km.

The VinFast VF8 smart electric vehicle is equipped with level 2+ self-driving features for Eco and Plus versions, levels 3 and 4 for Premium versions, along with smart entertainment and utility applications such as: suite of applications for Smart Home (Smarthome), Mobile Office (Mobile Office), In-car Shopping (In-car Shopping), In-car Entertainment (In-car Entertainment) with many preeminent features and for a great experience. exhilarating experience on every journey and daily life.
