Talking to PV, Mr. Tran Quoc Khanh, residing at Bai Gieng 2, Cam Hai Tay (Cam Lam, Khanh Hoa) said that his family grows 6 hectares of Australian mangoes with an output of about 10 tons/ha. However, the price of Australian mango is being bought in buckets from only 5 thousand VND/kg.
“In previous years, the price of mango at this time to buy at the garden was 30-40 thousand VND/kg, in the near Tet crop it was higher, from 50-60 thousand VND/kg, but in 3 years now, the price of mango has been low. Yesterday I sell only 5,000 VND/kg bucket price in the garden”, Mr. Khanh said.

According to Mr. Khanh, Australian mango was previously grown mainly for export to China. However, since the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, the country side has carried out stricter control, making it difficult for goods to clear customs, so mango prices have dropped more and more.
