According to the inter-sectoral plan, Hanoi’s implementation of COVID-19 vaccination for children from 5 to under 12 years old depends on the number of patients. – Vaccination at health stations or medical facilities eligible for vaccination: For children living in the area but studying at schools in other provinces, children who do not attend school and those who are temporarily exempted from school suspension. .

– Hospital injection: For children with congenital diseases, chronic diseases in the heart, lungs, digestive system, urinary system, blood,..; abnormal auscultation; anaphylactic degree 3.

Previously, Hanoi was allocated nearly 73,000 doses of vaccine to give priority to children in grade 6 (11 years old).

Leaders of Hanoi Department of Health said that the capital will deploy COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5-11 from Sunday (April 17). The vaccine to be given is Moderna.
