Accordingly, at 1:13 a.m. on the same day, the Information Center of the Hanoi Police Command received a fire report at house 116 B9 Kim Lien, lane 65 Pham Ngoc Thach, Kim Lien ward, Dong district Da, Hanoi.
Immediately, the Center dispatched a command vehicle, four fire engines belonging to Dong Da District Police and Hai Ba Trung District Police to the scene.
Approaching the scene, the police force determined that the fire occurred on the 1st floor of a house, adjacent to B9 Kim Lien collective house, Kim Lien ward, Dong Da district.
In the fire area, two people escaped to the roof of the second floor next to them, the fire police force deployed a ladder to bring these two people from the roof to a safe location.
At the same time, the police deployed to organize fire fighting and search for victims.
By 1:23 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.
As a result, five people died, of which four died at the scene, one died at the hospital. In addition, two other people were injured.
Authorities are investigating and determining the cause of the fire.
