The private Boeing 767 market is no different from the “flying mansion”
Private plane Boeing 767 is like a “flying mansion” with 6 living areas, home cinema, conference room and bathroom with shower and marble table.
Private plane has boomed since the pandemic began as more and more travelers realize the convenience and efficiency of flying on a private jet. Passengers can not only avoid long lines of security and crowded airports, but also enjoy lavish amenities onboard. The industry is reshaping itself with new types of aircraft to keep up with growing demand.
Depending on the type of aircraft, there are different facilities. Smaller business jets like Volaris’ HondaJet have four large recliners and a small showroom on board. The hourly rate is $4,000.
Meanwhile, budget travelers who want even more luxury and sophistication can opt for larger planes with plenty of living space, like VistaJet’s Bombardier Global 7500, which costs tens of thousands of dollars to rent. .
Florida-based aeronautical design company VIP Completions has received unique projects from wealthy clients who want to customize their planes.
On April 21, the company announced that it had completed the interior and exterior refurbishment of a Boeing 767 private jet owned by businessman, lawyer and philanthropist John Ruiz.
The Boeing 767, which can carry 33 people, is the largest project the company has undertaken to date. It has 6 living areas, including a bedroom, dining room and home cinema.
According to VIP Completions president, Ben Shirazi, the planes will be “more of a luxury mansion than a business jet” once delivered.
“In addition to its size and potential, the 767 stands out from other VIP widebody platforms because of its impressive range, altitude and speed capabilities,” said Shirazi.
Ruiz’s plane has six separate living spaces, two of which are in the main living room.
The spacious lounge features a seven-seat dining room and entertainment area with an 80-inch home cinema and DJ system with a full-range sound system for audiophiles.
The in-flight entertainment area is also very flashy.
The plane also features a meeting room with space for eight people, a master bedroom with en suite bathroom with a queen bed, walk-in shower and leather closet, and two lounges that can be converted into a living room.
The lounge inside the plane can be converted into a multi-function.
Connecting the rooms is a long passage.
The Boeing VIP also features four bathrooms, two of which are VIP bathrooms with walk-in showers and parquet floors, and white marble vanities.
According to the company, the interior has been personalized to represent Ruiz’s “personality and passion”.
Specifically, the color scheme has been hand-selected including light gray, off-white, taupe brown and grey. Accessories are sourced from premium brands like Loro Piana and Garrett Leather.
The in-flight experience has also been optimized for passenger convenience and comfort.
The private jet offers state-of-the-art high-speed internet, spectrum LED lighting, and an HD audio system, all controlled by an iPad.
VIP Completions not only reworked the interior, but also gave the plane a modern paint job.
The bold new exterior comes in “black, white and pearl with subtle accents” using high-quality paint.
Furthermore, the engine’s exhaust pipes are given a shiny “carbon fiber effect”.
The project is one of more than 15 private jets the company has built for Ruiz and other clients. For example, VIP Completions have completed customizing Bombardier Challenger 605 and Dassault Falcon 900c.
