Kym Viet Joint Stock Company, a unit specializing in the production of handicrafts, has designed a stuffed animal with the saola mascot with the image of a very vivid personified saola.

Right from the beginning of May, the disabled workers of Kym Viet Company have been working at full capacity to promptly launch the saola with perfect sophistication.

These saola have been sold on the market and received a positive reception from international tourists as well as domestic customers.

Although these saola are not official mascots, this is a companion product, licensed by the 31st SEA Games Organizing Committee with exclusive design of the model.

Previously, Kym Viet was approved by the 31st SEA Games Organizing Committee to use the image and produce the saola mascot stuffed animal to spread the spirit for a stronger Southeast Asia.

Featuring an exclusive design, each saola is made with a stuffed animal made up of 37 puzzle pieces. With many diverse and eye-catching colors, each saola is clothed with the image of the red flag with a yellow star of Vietnam or the flags of Southeast Asian countries, showing the spirit of solidarity and friendship that has been won. create impression and excitement for domestic and foreign tourists.

Mr. Pham Viet Hoai, Director of Kym Viet Joint Stock Company, who is also a disabled person said: “When Kym Viet’s saola was born, many customers loved this shape. At the Vietnam tourism promotion fair held recently by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, Kym Viet’s saola were displayed and attracted the interest of many people, and everyone also enjoyed the event. Bought in very large quantity. Currently, the company has also received a lot of orders to produce these saola.”

According to Mr. Viet, this is a side activity in response to the Southeast Asian sports festival and Kym Viet wishes to convey the message of wildlife protection in general and the Saola – Asian Unicorn in particular.

Saola was chosen as the mascot of the 31st SEA Games taking place in Vietnam with the meaning of protecting nature by BTC. This species was announced for the first time in the world in Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh Province) in 1992. Vu Quang National Park is the place where the first saola appeared in the world. This animal was found years later in other parts of the forest in Nghe An, Quang Binh, Thua Thien – Hue and Quang Nam provinces.

The fact that scientists first announced the discovery of saola in Vu Quang is of great significance in the conservation of this extremely rare, rare and endangered animal.
