Harry Styles’ New Album Breaks Taylor Swift’s Record

Harry Styles’ 3rd solo album titled Harry’s House currently “storming” in the music market. Notably, the vinyl version of this album set a new record when it became the album with the most sales in a week in the US market. Specifically, within 3 days of its release, the vinyl version of Harry’s House sold more than 146,000 copies. This also means that the former One Direction member has broken the previous record of Taylor Swift with Red (Taylor’s Version).

According to experts, the sales success of this album is not too surprising. Before that, album Fine Line Harry Styles’ 2019 release has also become the vinyl album with the most sales in 2020. By 2021, this album is still at No. 4 in terms of sales. Harry Styles’ first solo album was similarly successful, selling 236,000 vinyl copies after its release in 2017.

Another reason for Harry Styles’ vinyl sales to soar is attributed to the wave of vinyl records in the past two years. Remember in 2021, vinyl sales have surpassed CD version album sales, making vinyl the main form of consumption for an album in the modern era.

In addition to the record with vinyl album, Harry Styles’ new album also set many records at prestigious charts. The title song is called As It Was debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became the most played song in 24 hours on Spotify.
