The court has duly summoned the authorized representative of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang to work, but the litigants’ absence without reason should issue a decision to stop the case.
On May 30, the People’s Court of Thu Dau Mot City (Binh Duong Province) issued a decision to suspend the settlement of the civil case “dispute over compensation for non-contractual damages” between the plaintiff, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang (General Director) Director of Dai Nam Joint Stock Company, Binh Duong Province) and the defendant is Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper). The suspension decision clearly states that the court has duly summoned Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang’s authorized representative, Mr. Ho Nguyen Le, to the court to participate in the mediation; participate in meetings on checking the handover, access and disclosure of evidences and conciliation. However, Mr. Le asked to postpone the conciliation session on December 22, 2021 and be absent without reason on May 16, 2022 and May 26, 2022.
Meanwhile, the defendant, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien, did not make a counterclaim. Therefore, the court issued a decision to settle the above first-instance civil case.

After the termination decision, the paid plaintiff’s court fee advance will be transferred to the State budget.
The involved parties have the right to appeal, and the procuracies of the same level have the right to protest the suspension decision within seven days from the date of receipt of the decision or from the date the decision is posted up as prescribed by law.
