“Today Vietnam won the first, to enter the quarterfinals of the Asian U23 Championship. I am very impressed with my players. Before the tournament no one thought Vietnam could do it, but now it is successful. I don’t. I don’t do anything here. The credit belongs to the players. The coaching staff and doctors have helped the team a lot. I’m grateful for that,” Coach Gong said after the 2-0 win at Lokomotiv.
