Mui Nghe is located in the southeast of Son Tra peninsula. The rocks here are often likened to a lion lying with its head facing the rocky mountain and facing the sea.

The right time to go to Mui Nghe is in the summer, early spring. At this time, the weather is dry, the climate is cool, suitable for moving, enjoying and exploring. Visitors should avoid going in October and November because it is the rainy season, the slippery road is very dangerous.

From Da Nang city center to Mui Nghe about 10km. If you go by sea, you will admire the majestic beauty of Son Tra mountain, but the canoe cannot reach Mui Nghe because the terrain is mainly rocky, so you have to walk more to get there.

If traveling by motorbike, follow the Vo Nguyen Giap sea route to Son Tra mountain, past Linh Ung pagoda. Then turn right in the direction of the thousand-year-old banyan tree to the end of the road, turn onto a small path leading into the forest, you will reach Mui Nghe.
