F0 may leave the isolation place but must wear a mask and keep your distance
The Ministry of Health on March 14 issued the latest guidelines for managing homes for people with COVID-19. Thus, the clinical criteria, F0 who were treated at home were confirmed to be infected with SARS-CoV-2 through a PCR test or antigen rapid test carried out by self or caregiver at home or by medical staff, facilities carried out by the Ministry of Health.
Previously, the Ministry of Health stipulated that to be recognized as F0, patients must be quickly examined by medical staff, causing overcrowding in ward health posts in some areas.
F0 home treatment are those who are asymptomatic or have mild clinical symptoms; have no underlying disease, or have an underlying disease but are on stable medication.
Items needed at home include: thermometer; SpO2 .meter individual (if any); medical masks; hand hygiene facilities; necessary personal items; infectious waste containers with lids; means of communication such as telephone, telephone number of health facilities.
The Ministry of Health requires a separate ventilated isolation room, not using central air conditioning; always open the window. The isolation area should remain well ventilated, limiting items that are difficult to clean (animal cotton, paper, paperboard, etc.).
People with Covid-19 should limit going out of isolation places. When you have to leave the quarantine area, you must wear a mask and keep your distance from other people. Caregivers or family members who are in the same house always wear masks and keep their distance when making contact with F0.
F0 frequently wash or disinfect hands. Disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, handheld devices, toilets, sinks, etc., every day and when they are dirty. F0 also needs to classify and collect infectious waste according to regulations.
If abnormal signs appear, home care F0 must immediately notify the facilities for handling Covid-19 sufferers at home/accommodation: posyandu, ward; or mobile medical station, emergency transportation center, etc. to receive medical examination and treatment and timely transfer to a hospital or to take a person with Covid-19 to a medical facility for medical examination and treatment.
