In the summer of 1928, Ton Dien Anh took the name of a military exercise to take care of the tomb. After that, he robbed Ding Dong Tomb of Empress Dowager Cixi in this tomb complex. All the gold, silver and jewels in the Tomb of Empress Dowager Cixi made Sun Dien Anh very surprised by the huge amount.
After breaking into Dinh Dong Tomb, Ton Dien Anh went to Thanh Du mausoleum, which is Qian Long’s tomb, not far away.
Qianlong’s tomb has many more treasures than Empress Dowager Cixi’s tomb, too many precious jewels to count.
When he was alive, Qianlong was very fond of calligraphy. So when he died, this emperor was also buried with many precious calligraphy. However, for Ton Dien Anh, these are all scraps of paper with no monetary value. Many precious calligraphy were even torn and thrown away.

These frenzied grave robbers threw the remains of Qianlong and the five empresses and concubines on the ground and mixed them up. Qianlong’s skull was smashed, even worse, soaked in the dirty water of the underground palace, and it took more than a month to find his remains.
After the Thanh Dong mausoleum was excavated and stolen, the old gods loyal to the people who loved the Qing dynasty were very disgruntled. Especially the emperor Pu Nghi, although he abdicated, is still the most influential person in the Ai Xin Giac La family. He and many descendants of Ai Xin Giac La used all means to demand justice for the destroyed Qing Dynasty tomb.
However, Ton Dien Anh is an adept wanderer. After stealing Thanh Dong mausoleum, he gave away most of the most precious treasures. Specifically, Ton Dien Anh gave Da Minh Chau to Chiang Kai-shek’s second wife, Tong My Linh. Kowloon treasures Qianlong’s sword, Sun Dien Anh asked Dai Lap to give it to Chiang Kai-shek. Although Pho Nghi and his descendants of the Qing Dynasty brought Ton Dien Anh to court, it did not have a great influence on him. But in the end, after more than 20 years on the loose, Sun Dien Anh was captured by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army in 1947.
