The latest schedule for the death anniversary of Hung Kings in 2022

According to the provisions of Article 112 of the Labor Code 2019, effective from January 1, 2021, every year, employees have all 11 days of public holidays and New Year’s holidays and receive full salary.

With the death anniversary of Hung Kings (March 10 of the lunar calendar) this year is April 10, falling on a Sunday, so employees will have a compensatory rest on the following Monday (April 11). Thus, on the occasion of Hung King’s death anniversary, employees are entitled to 3 consecutive days off, from April 9 to the end of April 11.

As for Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day May 1, which coincides with Saturday and Sunday, is a weekly rest day, so employees are entitled to a compensatory rest on Monday. (May 2) and Tuesday (May 3) of the following week. Thus, employees are entitled to 4 consecutive days off, from April 30 to the end of May 3.

The above holiday schedule applies to cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees of administrative agencies, non-businesses, political organizations, socio-political organizations.

Agencies and organizations that do not implement a fixed schedule of 2 days off every Saturday and Sunday, shall base themselves on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable holiday schedule.

During the above holidays, employees are entitled to full salary. In case the employee works at the office hours of the above public holiday, the salary will be calculated according to the specific provisions of Clause C, Article 98 of the Labor Code 2019 (employees work on public holidays, New Year’s Eve, Tet holidays, New Year holidays, etc.) days off with pay, at least equal to 300% excluding wages for holidays, New Year’s Day, and paid holidays for employees receiving daily wages).
