According to the investigation, Phuong went to social networks, using a zalo account named Bao Thu to get acquainted with many girls for bad purposes. Recently, Phuong became acquainted with Ms. T. (34 years old, from Hanoi city).

Through conversation, Phuong knew that Ms. T. had a need to find a man with money to marry, to provide financial support. Phuong outlined a plan saying that she would introduce the giants to Ms. T. which made her think it was real.

To carry out the plan, Phuong created another zalo account named Minh, then introduced to Ms. T. that Minh was a giant who wanted to find a lover.

After chatting back and forth on social networks, at noon on March 14, Phuong pretended to be Minh and invited Ms. T. to a hotel on Cong Quynh Street, District 1 to… ‘confident’. After having fun, taking advantage of Ms. T. to go to the bathroom, the giant disappeared with her IPhone 12 Pro.

After the incident, Ms. T. reported it and the police investigated.

As for Phuong, she was able to steal T.’s phone but could not unlock it. Therefore, on the evening of March 14, Phuong asked a motorbike taxi driver to bring it to Ms. T.

When this motorbike taxi driver made an appointment to meet Ms. T., police scouts ambushed and detained her. From this person’s testimony, scouts tracked down and arrested Phuong at a house in Tan Phu district.

Initially, Phuong admitted to the theft of Ms. T.’s property as above.

In addition, Phuong declared that by pretending to be a rich man with a lot of money, he lured many girls into the hotel to “have fun” and then took advantage of them when they were caught off guard and stole property.

The police are expanding the investigation and suggest that whoever is Truong Nhat Phuong’s victim should contact soon to report to serve the object handling.
