The Charity Cup is the second stage of the Super Champions Chess Tour 2022 tournament system initiated by Carlsen. 16 players were invited to participate, with a fast Elo average of 2,693. They play a round robin game, to select the eight top scorers to advance to the quarter-finals. Quang Liem’s record in this round is nine wins, five draws and one loss. Quang Liem’s performance rating was the highest in the tournament, equaling an Elo of 2,853. And his best performance on the Tour was reaching the final of the 2021 Chessable Masters, only lost to So in the last game.
