In a statement, Prime Minister Johnson said: “The UK will work with allies to increase military and economic support to Ukraine and strengthen its defense power.”

According to the British Prime Minister’s Office, the support of £ 25 million will be used to pay the salaries of Ukrainian servicemen, pilots and police, as well as equip the armed forces of this country.

Recently, the British Government has provided Ukraine with more than 4,000 anti-tank weapons, including new-generation light anti-tank weapons (NLAW) and Javelin missiles, along with Starstreak anti-aircraft missiles. Earlier, the UK also committed to humanitarian and economic aid worth £400 million to help Ukraine.

Similarly, a source from the German parliament on March 23 said that the country will send an additional 2,000 units of anti-tank weapons to Ukraine.

Earlier, the German military delivered to Ukraine 1,000 units of anti-tank weapons and 500 Stinger surface-to-air missile launchers. Germany is also providing about 500 Strela anti-aircraft missiles out of 2,700 that it has pledged to support to the Eastern European country.

On the same day, Bloomberg, citing unnamed sources, said that the European Union (EU) approved an agreement with Ukraine, under which the bloc has the ability to provide confidential information to Kiev.

According to Bloomberg, the satellite images are an example that the EU and Ukraine will share with each other. The agreement will be valid for one year and can be extended if needed. The EU Ambassadors were informed of the agreement during a meeting on 22 March. It is not clear whether the deal will cover only the intelligence of EU member states or allow them to relay information received from third parties such as the United States.
