Language assistant recruiting Vietnam has Covid-19 in Japan
Le Huy Khoa, the language assistant of Coach Park Hang Seo, tested positive for COVID-19 at Narita Airport (Tokyo, Japan). There are still English-Korean language assistants on the team at this time. Therefore, the communication and information transfer between Coach Park Hang Seo and the students is still partly guaranteed.
Previously, it took Vietnam more than 3 hours to receive RT-PCR test results to ensure eligibility for entry. Thus, it took coach Park Hang-seo and his students a total of 16 hours to reach the team hotel.
Currently, the Vietnamese team has exactly 20 players to register for the match against Japan. Goalkeeper Dang Van Lam also went to the hotel to reunite with his teammates. At 3pm on March 26 (Hanoi time), the Vietnamese team will have their first training session at Saitama Stadium, located about 40 minutes by bus from the hotel.
