According to Mr. Lam Hong Hang’s initial report, at more than 9pm on March 24, he and some neighbors sat drinking water in front of his house in Hamlet 2, Phuoc Binh Commune, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province.

At this moment, two men appeared on two motorbikes, in which one was carrying two machetes. Seeing Mr. Xiang sitting unnoticed, one subject got off the car and approached, using a machete placed across his neck, the other behind his back.

According to inertia, Mr. Xiang used his hand to push the machete away, but was cut by the subject with the other machete. At this time, the victim raised his hand to support, so he was slashed at the elbow, broken tendons and bones.

After committing the crime, the two subjects left. The victim was taken to the emergency room at Dong Nai General Hospital in a state of heavy blood loss.

Mr. Dang’s family reported the incident to the Phuoc Binh Commune Police and the Long Thanh District Police. The case is being investigated by the police.
