A Scottish man believes a doll he bought four years ago is “haunted” due to its super weird behaviour.
Gregor Stewart, 51, of Fife, Scotland, bought the doll four years ago from a thrift store in California (USA). The seller confided in Gregor that he wanted to sell it to someone as far away as possible.
The moment the doll automatically blinks
This person claims that the doll, named Uncle Herb, can open and close its own mouth even though the mouth mechanism is not working and no one is touching it. Accordingly, the doll often behaves strangely when left alone or when someone nearby speaks ill of it.
The seller in the US purchased the doll from a family that wanted to dispose of it, after an elderly woman who owned it died.
“The doll was kept in a cupboard and the family always heard a lot of noise coming from it,” said Gregor. “They warned about it, but the American was happy to accept it.”
“But when he brought it home, he kept hearing footsteps throughout the night. He eventually moved it to his garage but the noise and disturbance continued so he decided to put it up for sale.”
However, according to Gregor, the doll only behaves strangely and does not emit any dark energy.
Even his children often invite each other to stare at the doll to see if the “ghost” does anything weird.
