Hanoi adds 57 infections, new outbreaks arise

The Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC) on the evening of November 1 recorded 57 infections as of 6pm on October 31, related to 8 current outbreaks.

In which, a new outbreak arose in Phu Vinh, Hoai DucSo far, 8 cases have been recorded. The only case of this outbreak is a 30-year-old woman in An Khanh, Hoai Duc, with fever and self-medication since October 28. Two days later, she took her child to the National Children’s Hospital for treatment, and both mother and child tested positive for nCoV.

18 other infections belong to Bach Tru outbreak, Tien Thang commune, Me Linh district, including 14 F1 and 4 people living in the blockade area. Thus, this outbreak recorded a total of 64 infections in 6 days.

8 related infections Nam Du outbreak, Linh Nam, including 5 F1 and 3 people living near the blockade area. This outbreak was discovered on October 30, so far 16 cases have been recorded.

6 cases recorded in Sai Son, Quoc Oai, mainly F1; a cluster related Le Duc Tho, My Dinh, is also F1; 4 related clusters Tran Quang Dieu, O Cho Dua; a chain related contagion from provinces with epidemics; the rest belongs to Cough screening cluster and the people involved.

Yesterday, Hanoi recorded 49 infections, before October 28, it recorded less than 20 cases a day. Thus, the number of infections in the area tends to increase again. On October 29, the City People’s Committee assessed that Hanoi is currently at level 2 in terms of prevention and control Covid-19.

During the fourth wave, Hanoi recorded 4,459 cases, of which 1,709 were in the community, 2,750 were detected in the isolation area.
