In SEA Games 31Men’s football has 10 participating countries and is divided into 2 groups. Men’s football is the earliest sport at the 31st SEA Games when it started on May 6.
Group A has the presence of the host U23 Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines and Timor Leste. Meanwhile, Group B has Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia and Singapore U23 teams.
Men’s football will be played at three stadiums Viet Tri (Phu Tho), Thien Truong (Nam Dinh) and My Dinh (Hanoi).
