Lanvin Launches Latest Collaborative Collection-Fashion Trends

Josué Thomas of Gallery Dept. and Lanvin’s Bruno Sialelli are back together for their second collaborative collection, again referencing 1990s skateboarding, workwear and Gallery Dept’s signature artistic aesthetic. for a comprehensive collection.

Interestingly, the collection came after Thomas announced the closure of Gallery Dept. in September 2021. However, he has announced that he will continue his artistic activities and it seems that this ethos has been applied a lot to the new collaboration with Lanvin.

At the center are the Curb sneakers that have become Lanvin’s signature design, inspired by the skate shoes of the ’90s. Here, design details are painted in color. Classic of Gallery Dept. grace sneakers in an impromptu style, making them look as if they were worn in the studio in a religious style. The same aesthetic applies to the Arpège Chelsea boots, as well as the complementary sandals and many other models in the collection.

Highlights include an In & Out tote bag with a paint drip effect, a dark blue suit accented with paint at the hem of the jacket, and bright orange high-waisted denim pants. Contrasting with the general theme is a double-breasted denim jacket and mini skirt with side pockets.
