According to information from the National Business Registration Information System and the Business Registration Administration (Ministry of Planning and Investment), in the first three months of 2022, there are nearly 34.6 thousand enterprises nationwide. new establishment registration with a total registered capital of 471.2 trillion VND and a total number of registered employees of nearly 243.5 thousand employees, an increase of 18.1% in the number of enterprises, an increase of 5.2% in the registered capital and a decrease of 0 .9% in terms of number of employees over the same period last year.

The average registered capital of a newly established enterprise in the first 3 months of 2022 reached 13.6 billion VND, down 10.9% compared to the same period in 2021. If including 706.7 trillion VND in additional registered capital, of 11.8 thousand enterprises increased capital, the total registered capital added to the economy in the first 3 months of 2022 was 1,177.9 trillion dong, up 21% over the same period last year.

In addition, 25.6 thousand enterprises returned to operation (up 73.6% over the same period in 2021), bringing the total number of newly established enterprises and enterprises returning to operation in 3 months. in early 2022 to 60.2 thousand enterprises, up 36.7% over the same period last year. On average, 20,000 new businesses are established and re-operated per month.

Also in the first 3 months of this year, the number of enterprises suspending business for a term of 35.7 thousand enterprises, up 49.7% over the same period last year; 11.3 thousand enterprises stopped operating and waited for dissolution procedures, up 0.1%; more than 4.3 thousand enterprises completed dissolution procedures, down 16.7%, of which 3.8 thousand enterprises with capital scale of less than 10 billion dong, down 19.7%; 63 enterprises with capital scale of over 100 billion VND, up 28.6%. On average, 17.1 thousand businesses withdraw from the market every month.
