Accordingly, pre-schools, primary schools, and secondary schools for admission to students by line are regulated by the district-level People’s Committee. Next school year, Hanoi will still enroll students in two forms online and in person.

For pre-schools, primary schools, and junior high schools, enrollment is scheduled to take place from July 1 to July 9 (in the online form) and from July 13 to 18 (in person). Non-public schools organize enrollment as soon as the old school year ends, from May 28 to July 12.

Secondary schools that enroll students in grade 6 without line, have registered students exceeding the quota (recognized as high-quality or non-public schools by the city), in addition to admissions, are held together with recruitment examination and inspection. capacity assessment.

The secondary school must report its enrollment plan to the Department of Education and Training, then submit it to the District People’s Committee. The time for organizing the examination and assessment is at the initiative of the school, but must be completed before July 12.

This year, the entrance exam to class 10 in Hanoi’s public high schools takes place with three compulsory subjects, Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Languages, with no fourth subject. The two exams, Math and Literature, take place in the form of essays, with a duration of 120 minutes for each subject. Foreign language test in 60 minutes with many test codes. The exam is expected to take place between June 10 and 20.

Next school year, Hanoi will recruit more than 500,000 preschool children, 140,000 first graders, 151,000 sixth graders and about 129,000 students competing for places in public high schools.
