Regarding vaccination for children from 5 to under 12 years old, Deputy Minister Nguyen Truong Son said that the Government has passed Resolution 14 on purchasing vaccines to inject this group of children. Do not mix 2 vaccines for children

At the training conference, Assoc. Prof-Dr. Duong Thi Hong, Deputy Director of the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, said that in early April 2022, right after the Covid-19 vaccine is administered, 63 provinces, cities across Indonesia will deploy injections to children from 5 to under 12 years old.

Therefore, the Pfizer vaccine is indicated for people aged 5 to under 12 years. Dosage route: intramuscular injection, 0.2 ml injection dose. Injection schedule: 2 injections 4 weeks apart.

The Spikevax vaccine (Modern Covid-19 Vaccine) has been approved by the Ministry of Health for use in children aged 6 – under 12 years for urgent needs in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
