“The goal is to ensure a large balance of electricity and energy in a sustainable way, not to have an energy crisis, meet production and consumption requirements, and at the same time ensure reasonable prices, control prices appropriately. appropriate, does not have a negative impact on inflation and the large balances of import and export, budget revenue and expenditure”, the Prime Minister emphasized.

The Prime Minister also stated the point of view that it is necessary to promote domestic production, strengthen the autonomy and self-reliance of the electricity industry, reduce dependence on outside sources, and reduce imports.

In the short term, the Prime Minister requested to focus on exploiting all possible capacity in oil, gas and coal; continue to adjust the power source accordingly where there may be a shortage. The import must be reasonable, not to adversely affect the large balance of import and export, minimize the trade deficit and increase the trade surplus.

Another solution also raised by the Prime Minister is to well solve the relationship between input material prices and output electricity prices according to the market mechanism regulated by the state; closely monitor the situation to adjust prices appropriately, on the basis of controlling inflation, carefully calculating the impact on the macro-economy, major balances, activities of enterprises, budget revenue…

The Prime Minister suggested businesses strengthen discipline and discipline in the implementation of signed contracts, on the basis of long-term and stable plans, minimizing shocks in production and business.
