On the evening of February 24, the group of Tangmo Pattaratida had dinner in Bangkok, then went sightseeing on the river, on a boat with a total of six people. By the time San Wisapat became aware of the danger, Tangmo had already fallen.

In connection with the case, boat owner Por and boatman Robert were charged with crimes including “creating false evidence” and “destroying evidence”. According to the police investigation, Por and Robert said they drank three bottles of alcohol but actually drank more. Both also threw the bottle of wine into the river to destroy evidence. Previously, they were accused of “inadvertently causing death”, and were released on bail. The other man on the boat, Job, was also required to report to the police every seven days.
