The Department of Construction said that it is in the process of making an estimate report, reviewing and evaluating urban criteria of class I for Nam Dinh city (expected to expand) and standards of infrastructure development for other cities. Currently, Nam Dinh City is implementing many key urban infrastructure projects in the city.

For example, the project to build a bridge across the Dao River connecting Song Hao Street to Vu Huu Loi Street has a length of 1.6 km (the bridge part is 0.8 km long), the implementation time is in the years from 2021 to 2025. , total investment capital of 1,200 billion VND.

Currently, the project has organized a competition to recruit architectural drawings, and is submitting to departments for appraisal of feasibility study reports and environmental impact assessment reports; has completed the work of setting up landmarks for site clearance in the field, making land recovery documents…; Construction is expected to be signed and started in October 2022 and will be completed in 2024.

The project to build a trunk road in the south of the city (from Vu Huu Loi Street to National Highway 21B) with a length of 6.8 km, a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND, is preparing to submit a feasibility study report, which has been approved. report on appraisal results of environmental impact assessment report dated January 25; has completed the work of planting site clearance landmarks in the field and organizing the selection of measurement units, making land recovery documents; It is expected that in March 2022 to approve the feasibility study report, approve construction design drawings – cost estimates in August 2022 to sign construction and installation contracts and start work in October/ 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2024.

Hoa Binh Square construction and renovation project has a total area of ​​22,970 m2, total investment of 80 billion VND, is underway to prepare a feasibility study report; completed the public consultation on the design option; is expected to sign a construction and installation contract and start construction in December 2022.

Construction project of Cua Nam Ward Primary School with an area of ​​9,176 m2, 3 floors, 30 classrooms and ancillary items, total investment of nearly 94 billion VND approved investment project, is expected to signed a construction contract in June 2022.

The project to build a new urban area south of the Dao River has a total area of ​​nearly 46 hectares with two phases. Phase 1 construction volume reached 73%, phase 2 is implementing ground leveling, construction of rainwater drainage system, construction volume reached 22% of the contract value; Construction is expected to be completed in 2022…

Infrastructure investment project for Textile Urban Area covers an area of ​​more than 25 hectares and is divided into three phases. Phases 1 and 2 have a total area of ​​nearly 15 hectares, and infrastructure construction has now been completed.

Construction of Primary School in Textile Urban Area started in August 2020, currently completing a number of items and is expected to complete phase I in June 2022.
