Hoang Huong Pharmaceutical was sanctioned for violating advertising

On April 13, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) said that in 5 establishments sanctioned for administrative violations on food safety until April 12, there was Hoang Huong Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.

The total amount of fines for these 5 establishments is 300 million VND. The establishments that are sanctioned for advertising must remove, dismantle and delete the infringing advertising content; establishments violating the self-declaration of products must recall the products and withdraw the Infringing Self-Declaration.

In there, Hoang Huong Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (address: 6th floor, No. 36, Nguyen Hoang, My Dinh 2 Ward, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi) was fined 65 million VND for the violation: Advertising food products to protect bone health Hoang Huong joint.

This product is misleadingly advertised as a cure-all; advertising without or incorrectly stating or not clearly reading or not showing in the advertisement “This food is not a medicine and has no effect as a substitute for medicine”.

The remaining 4 companies include:

MEDISTAR International Medical Pharmaceutical One Member Co., Ltd (Address: Trung Tien Hamlet, Thuy Huong Commune, Chuong My District, Hanoi City): level 90 million dong fine about violations: Self-declaration of products for products subject to registration of product announcements according to the provisions of law.

Specifically, this company self-proclaimed its Lung Detox lung supplement while this product is subject to registration of product announcement under the provisions of Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP.

Ngu Phuc Duong Medical and Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (address: Lot NV09, HBI high-class office complex project with commercial services, 203 Nguyen Huy Tuong, Thanh Xuan Trung Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi): level 50 million dong fine about violations: Advertisement of food products to protect health: Lumedi-V, Lumedi-V KIDS, Bao Lac Hoan (Misunderstanding advertising acts as medicine).

Thien Duoc Son Joint Stock Company (Address: No. 7 Ngan 88, Lane 151B Thai Ha, Lang Ha Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi): fine of 50 million dong about violations: Advertisement of health food products Lavenda plus (Misleading advertising that works like medicine).

Dai Lam Moc International Trade Joint Stock Company (address: 09-LK1, residential area 90 Nguyen Tuan, number 90 Nguyen Tuan street, Thanh Xuan Trung ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi city): level fined 45 million dong about violations: Advertising health-protecting food products Moc Beauty female pill (Advertising without content confirmation by competent state agencies before advertising according to regulations).
