An update with the new Expert RAW app allows users of Samsung’s high-end smartphones to take more beautiful photos.

Expert RAW is one of the best features Samsung has introduced to a number of phones Android advanced, giving users complete control over camera settings such as shutter speed and ISO. Thanks to the new update, the app is now even better at handling low-light images.

According to SamMobile, the Expert RAW app has received a new update that improves image clarity in extremely low-light environments. While it’s not a huge update, it’s a welcome addition to the already impressive feature set of Galaxy devices that support it. These include Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy S22 It is now possible to take sharper pictures indoors or at night.

The latest enhancements complement the already handy features of the app for mobile photography enthusiasts, such as the ability to capture images in the 16-bit DNG RAW format. Users can also adjust exposure and white balance to give the image some DSLR quality.

Samsung started rolling out the beta version of the operating system late last year on the Galaxy S21 Ultra phones and was made exclusively in South Korea before rolling out support to other high-end Galaxy phones. This update was moved to the stable version on 2/25.

The Korean tech giant also promises to bring the app to more Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Fold 2, in the coming months. Currently, if you own any of the eligible phones, you can visit the Galaxy Store to check for the update.
