Ezra Miller Arrested For Alleged Assault In Hawaii, Second Arrest In The State In Weeks
Ezra Miller was arrested in connection with a second-degree assault complaint, just weeks after the actor was arrested for allegedly disorderly behavior at karaoke bar and was accused of harassing a couple.
Miller, who prefers the pronoun they/they, allegedly turned violent after being asked to leave his home at a home in Pāhoa early Tuesday morning, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
Police said they threw a chair at a 26-year-old woman. Miller was arrested at a traffic stop around 1:30 a.m. after officers interviewed witnesses at the home.
The woman with the cut on her forehead refused treatment.
A representative for Miller did not immediately respond to a request for comment from NBC News.
Last month, Miller was arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment at a bar in Hilo, Hawaii. Miller allegedly started shouting obscenities at patrons as they sang karaoke and at one point snatched the microphone from a 23-year-old woman who was singing.
That same day, Miller was accused of break into a couple’s room at an inn. Miller is charged with shouting threats and stealing passports and wallets, according to a filing requesting an injunction.
Hawaii Assistant Sheriff Kenneth Quiocho says police had to remove Miller from the Hilo property after a resident called police to consult about removing two housekeepers from his property. ta. The innkeeper said Miller was staying with the inn couple.
A judge granted the couple a protective order following the alleged incident, which they later requested was removed.
