Ms. Sukanda’s husband was arrested after staying in the apartment for two hours.

Sukanda, a 56-year-old female tourist from the UK, was lucky to survive after falling from a 7th-floor balcony to the ground at an apartment building in Rayong city, Thailand. The victim was conscious when he was taken to the hospital.

Doctors determined that Sukanda suffered a broken hip and dislocated hand, but the injury was not life-threatening. The British tourist later told police she was thrown over the balcony by her 46-year-old husband while they argued.

Police arrested Ms. Sukanda’s husband after he entrenched in the apartment for two hours. The man said he was stressed because flights back to the UK were canceled because of the Covid-19 epidemic.

The 46-year-old also said he felt frustrated at having to stay in the apartment all day and admitted to arguing with his wife, before throwing her out on the balcony.
