Hanoi closes the schedule for the entrance exam for class 10 in the school year 2022 – 2023

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just issued a document on guiding the enrollment of students in the 10th grade of high school in the school year 2022 – 2023.

Exam enrollment in class 10 will be held on June 18-20, 2022, in which, on June 18, the exam for Literature and Foreign Languages, and on the morning of June 19, the exam for Mathematics. Day 20 is for candidates taking the specialized exam to enter specialized high schools.

Among the above-mentioned tests, the Math test and the Literature test are in the form of essays, and the test time is 120 minutes each; The foreign language exam is conducted in a multiple-choice format and takes 60 minutes to complete.

In order to conduct enrollment in the 10th grade of a public high school in the 2022-2023 school year, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training stipulates that the whole city has 12 enrollment zones. Each student is allowed to apply for admission to a maximum of 3 public high schools, ranked in the order of preference 1, wish 2, and preference 3.

In which, aspirations 1 and 2 must be enrolled in a high school belonging to the same enrollment area that the student or the student’s parents have. Household Resident; If you want 3, you can enroll in a high school in any enrollment zone.

However, in order to create maximum convenience for students, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training allows some cases to change the enrollment area. Specifically, students who are located in the bordering areas between the enrollment areas or have actual accommodation different from the place of permanent residence registration are allowed to change the enrollment area with the following conditions: Aspiration 1 and Aspiration 2 must apply for admission to 2 public high schools in the changed enrollment area, 3 preference is in any enrollment area. Students need a unit to change the enrollment area (according to the form), in the application, clearly state the reason for changing the enrollment area and be confirmed by the head of the educational institution.

According to the guidance of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, students submit the “Application form for admission to the 10th grade of high school in the school year 2022 – 2023” at the school where they are studying in grade 9; The deadline is May 13, and please note that you cannot change your application after you have registered.
