According to the training schedule in Bahrain, the Vietnamese women’s futsal team played 4 friendly matches against the host country team. One day after winning 4-3 in the first match (April 23 evening), coach Truong Quoc Tuan and his team entered the second match of the training trip at 20:45 on April 24 (local time). Both teams are given the opportunity to make the players less likely to play in the first game to play more as suggested by the coaching staff.

The Vietnamese women’s futsal team completely controlled the game thanks to their individual technique and good team coordination, but the home team Bahrain opened the scoring first in the 16th minute after a quick counter-attack. In the final minutes of the match, Bahrain scored to shorten the score to 2-3, which is also the final score of the match.

After the match, coach Truong Quoc Tuan said that despite the victory, the coaching staff was still not satisfied with the girls’ finishing ability. During the 2 days off, the coaching staff will focus more on retraining the team’s finishing ability.

Vietnam women’s futsal team went through 6 practice matches with men’s teams in Ho Chi Minh City and 4 matches international friendly with the Bahraini women’s futsal team. This is considered a valuable opportunity for the coaching staff to properly assess the capacity of the players to perfect the overall gameplay and overcome the weaknesses. According to the plan, the Vietnamese women’s futsal team will have two more friendly matches against the home team Bahrain on April 27 and 28.
