Vietnamese delegation attended 31st SEA Games with more than 1300 members

Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung has just signed a Decision on the establishment of a Vietnamese Sports Delegation to attend the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) to be held in Hanoi and 11 provinces. , cities across the country from May 4 to 23, 2022.

Accordingly, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation attended the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) with 1341 members. The delegation was led by Mr. Tran Duc Phan, Deputy Director General in charge of the General Department of Sports. The two deputy heads of the delegation were the Director of the High Performance Sports Department 1 – General Department of Sports and Sports Hoang Quoc Vinh and the Director of the High Performance Sports Department 2 – the General Department of Sports and Sports Ngo Ich Quan.

The composition of the Vietnam Sports Delegation attending the 31st SEA Games also includes delegation officials who take care of organization, logistics and communication. This is also the congress where medical work is focused with a team of doctors, nurses, technicians up to 31 people. The medical staff, doctors and technicians will take care of the health and fitness, especially the treatment and recovery of injuries for athletes during the competition at the Games.

Assessing the force of Vietnam Sports competing at the 31st SEA Games, the representative of the Vietnam Sports Delegation said that this time the force has the participation of elite athletes who are having high achievements at the SEA Games in different regions. sports such as athletics, gymnastics, archery, fencing, rowing, boxing, taekwondo… Along with that, the Vietnamese delegation also boldly sent young athletes to create opportunities for them to compete and compete. rubbing, preparing for the big tournaments in the future.
