TTVN aims to win 140 gold medals at SEA Games 31

The ceremony to release the Vietnam Sports Corps to attend the 31st SEA Games was held in a vibrant, exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere at the Hanoi National Athletics Center (Non).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director General in charge of the General Department of Sports and Sports, Head of the Vietnam Sports Delegation to attend the 31st SEA Games Tran Duc Phan expressed his determination: “As the host country, we have to do two things at the same time. Mission: Successfully preparing and organizing the sports competitions at the Games; and at the same time, well prepared the athletes to compete with high results.This is not a small challenge, but with great efforts, Vietnamese sports are determined to fulfill the tasks assigned to the industry by the Party, State, Government and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Specifically, the Vietnam Sports Delegation attended the 31st SEA Games with 1,341 members, of which 951 athletes, 250 coaches, 30 experts, 46 team leaders competed in 40/40 subjects, 508/526 contents at the Games:

Attending and assigning tasks to the Vietnam Youth Union, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh only pedaled: “SEA Games is not simply a sports competition event of Southeast Asian countries to win achievements. This is also a festival showing solidarity and friendship, and a place for cultural exchange between countries in the region.

The hosting of the 31st SEA Games shows the role and responsibility of Vietnam to the Southeast Asian sports movement and also shows that Vietnam is one of the active, active and responsible members. , contribute fully to the development of ASEAN and “For a stronger Southeast Asia”.

According to the schedule, the 31st SEA Games will take place from May 12 to 23 in Hanoi and 11 neighboring provinces and cities. The Congress organized 40 competitions, 526 contents with the participation of more than 10,000 athletes, officials, referees… from 11 sports delegations in Southeast Asia.
