Two months ago, I was still a security guard for a company. But up to this point, my life has turned to a new page.
I used to be a financial accounting student with a bright future. In my 3rd year of college, there was an accident in my family. I was forced to drop out of school to earn money.
At the age of 27, I am be a guard of an import-export company. Although the job is not related to the old school, sometimes, I still buy books for self-study.
The story that changed my life happened more than two months ago. I was waiting for the bus that day when I saw a 3-year-old boy running into the street. At that moment, a car came at a rather fast speed. Reflexively, I rushed to hug the baby in my lap. We fell on the street, my head and arms were bleeding but luckily the baby was okay.
Witnessing the incident, the child’s mother initially panicked and shouted loudly, until she saw that she was okay, she calmed down, she was very grateful and offered to send me some money, and also wanted to take me to the hospital for examination but I refused because I knew that the child’s mother was still worried about her child. Then, when I was about to get on the bus, I met the general manager of my company who also drove over. Turns out he was the baby’s father. Knowing the story, he invited me to his house for dinner.
While eating, knowing that I was in the middle of studying, he said he would sponsor me a course to get a job. Not to mention during this time, the boss is also asking me to become his assistant with a salary 5 times higher than the security guard salary.
I was change destiny in the moment to save that baby. Even up to this moment, I still can’t believe what I received was so great. Because my work is completely instinctive. Whoever it is, I will rush to the rescue. Should I accept this favor from my boss?
