On March 17, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with the People’s Committee of Phu Cat District and the People’s Committee of Cat Khanh Commune to inspect the mining and leveling activities of Tin Thanh Company.

This company was granted the License No. 03/GP-UBND by the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province on January 22, 2020, allowing the exploitation of soil for leveling materials and block stone as common building materials in Cat Khanh commune, with an area of 1ha exploitation area. The mining term is 2 years from the date of signing (expires on January 22, 2022).

The company commits to fully implement the land rent (collection) in accordance with regulations and financial obligations on land.

Currently, the company is making an application to extend the time of mineral extraction (land) for the construction of residential projects, rural roads in the area of ​​Cat Khanh, Cat Thanh and Cat Hai communes. The company has won the bid and made a land lease document according to regulations.

The inspection team requested Tin Thanh Company to immediately stop mining activities and assigned the Cat Khanh Commune People’s Committee to be responsible for monitoring and supervising, in case of detecting mineral mining activities without a license from a competent authority. , have not prepared land lease documents, promptly handle (or report to competent authorities for handling) according to regulations.
