Selling sex for 1 million VND/night in a karaoke bar

On May 14, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province Police said that this unit had just dismantled a place of prostitution and illegal drug use hiding in the shadow of a business establishment. Karaoke business, Hanh Hien guesthouse owned by Tran Thi Hien (53 years old, residing in Kim My, Nghi An, Vinh City, Nghe An).

According to the police, the karaoke bar owned by Tran Thi Hien was built on an area of ​​about 800m2, the front side is adjacent to National Highway 46, the back side is fields, the two sides are adjacent to people’s houses. In the shop, there are 4 karaoke rooms and 14 small rooms. In all rooms, there is an emergency exit to the field so that the subjects can easily escape when inspected by the functional forces.

At the bar, Hien raised many young girls to serve karaoke and sell sex to customers when needed. The price of each time to buy sex “fast train” is from 300,000 VND to 500,000 VND/time, overnight from 700,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND. The proceeds of sex work are divided 30/70, of which Hien gets 70% and prostitutes gets 30%.

During the operation, Hien did not directly come out, but hired Le Xuan Thung (58 years old) and Thung’s stepchild Le Xuan Tung (32 years old, both residing in Quang Son commune, Do Luong district) to manage and operate the restaurant. .

At the time of police inspection, there were 5 people at Hanh Hien restaurant who were carrying out the act of organizing illegal drug use and 3 couples buying and selling sex.

It is known that Tran Thi Hien and Le Xuan Thung both have previous convictions for containing prostitution.
