Specifically, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel Co., Ltd. announced a reduction steel price tree 300,000 VND/ton, rolled steel down 450,000 VND/ton (excluding VAT). Currently, each ton of Hoa Phat steel coil has decreased by more than 310,000 VND/ton compared to the peak price of more than 19 million VND/ton in March. Vietnam Italy Steel also decreased by 310,000 VND/ton for two products of rebar and coil.
Thai Nguyen Steel also lowered the price of 310,000 VND/ton for steel products. After the discount, the price of steel products of this enterprise is at VND 19.1-19.23 million/ton.
Along with the same trend, Kyoei steel brand also reduced by 300,000 VND/ton for D10 CB300 rebar and 310,000 VND/ton for CB240 coil, respectively, to 18.78 million VND/ton and 18 million VND/ton, respectively. ,57 million VND/ton.
Meanwhile, the selling price of steel at the Vietnam Steel Corporation is 18.75-19.1 million VND/ton (excluding VAT).
Explaining the reason for the sudden drop in steel prices, many businesses said that the price of steel billet, an input material for steel production, decreased significantly.
