iOS 16 will have what changes to look forward to?

According to Bloomberg, iOS 16 won’t be a big update with lots of breakouts. However, this new version of iOS will likely add new Widgets to interact with the system and some new applications from Apple.

iPhone users have long wanted Apple to integrate Widgets – special utilities for the ability to display all or part of an application on the device – onto the iOS operating system.

With the release of iOS 14, Apple brought the Widget feature to iPhones for the first time. Widget size can be customized to show more information. Functionally, however, they are extremely limited.

While Widgets on Android phones are mostly interactive, this is not the case on iPhones. If a user taps a widget from the iPhone home screen, they’ll be taken directly to the app for that widget.

When launching iOS 15, Apple almost did not make any changes to these utilities. Therefore, some experts expect, significant changes to Widgets will appear on iOS 16.

Interactive Widgets are expected to appear on the new iOS version

“I don’t expect Apple to completely redesign the operating system. However, I do expect major system-wide changes, interactive Widgets, and some new apps from Apple.” – Bloomberg’s technology expert Mark Gurman shared.

Besides iOS 16, Gurman also said that watchOS 9 version will also be an important update. Accordingly, the new watchOS update is expected to bring many improvements to the notification system, new features to serve the needs of health and fitness tracking through the Apple Watch.
