The so-called record-breaker David Rush is the rare man on the planet to hold more than 150 Guinness World Records and he has no plans to stop.

Most recently, the man from Idaho, USA once again surprised fans when participating in running when wearing more than 100 T-shirts.

The teacher decided to set a new world record when he decided to wear 111 T-shirts and participate in a half marathon. He completed the run in a time of 2 hours 47 minutes 55 seconds. Rush said it took his support team about 25 minutes to put all 111 T-shirts on him.

The Idaho man said the cool temperatures helped him a lot while trying to finish the track. But he still struggled with problems from the more than 18 kg weight of the shirts.

David Rush said: “My arms are so big, after a while it almost has no feeling, the hand swells to twice as big.”

The previous record was held by British athlete David Smith, who wore 82 T-shirts to run in November 2021.

When asked what motivates him to keep trying, David Rush said that through his world-record practice he wants to promote STEM education.

“I work hard to show my students that if you stick to a specific goal, believe in yourself, and follow your passion, you can accomplish anything,” says David Rush.

David is currently in the top five of all-time Guinness World Records holders.

Some of the records this brave man made were quite dangerous, requiring extreme ingenuity and care. For example, balancing the lawn mower on your chin and juggling, balancing on a ball while holding a sword to cut fruit.
