Vietnam’s cashew exports prospered thanks to EVFTA

Notably, EU countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, and Italy are all in the top 10 cashew export markets of Vietnam.

Experts said that after a period of time, the EVFTA Agreement has been put into effect. Immediately after the agreement came into effect, the tax rate for cashew nut products imported from Vietnam was reduced to 0%. This is a great opportunity for business thing. Because before the implementation of EVFTA, the tariff of this item to the EU fluctuated from 7 to 12%.

According to statistics, the EU market is ranked 2nd in Vietnam’s cashew export markets, accounting for 23% of output and 22% of the total value of the industry.
