SEA Games on May 21: Waiting for a gold medal from women’s football

Women’s football, weightlifting and canoeing are expected to bring a gold medal to Vietnam on May 21.

Three days before the end of the 31st SEA Games, the home team Vietnam won 164 gold medals, nearly as many as the four teams behind combined. But that is certainly not the final number, when Vietnam also participated in many competitions in 18 subjects on May 21.

The strong sports of the Vietnamese sports delegation, such as diving, canoeing, and weightlifting, will compete in many finals. In addition, the host country also hopes to win gold in subjects such as shooting, rattan bridge, muay, vovinam, bicycle…

Today’s focus is on Cam Pha Stadium when the Vietnamese women’s team kicks off the women’s soccer final against Thailand at 19:00. Coach Mai Duc Chung’s teachers and students set the goal of winning to win the SEA Games gold medal for the third time in a row.

In badminton, Nguyen Tien Minh participated in the men’s singles semi-finals. Trinh Linh Giang and Ly Hoang Nam also competed in the men’s singles tennis semi-finals, against opponents from Laos and Thailand.
