Another reason for the delay in putting it into use. The hospital is because some of the hospital’s staff have not yet agreed,” Mr. Thieu informed.

Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People’s Committee also added that Bac Lieu province will set up a Working Group to consult with the Ministry of Health to appoint experts with experience in this issue to advise on installation and acceptance. Aiming to put this hospital into operation soon, avoiding waste and making people angry.

Previously, the leader of Bac Lieu Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital said that the unit had reported on the overall situation that the hospital could not accept patients even though it had been completed for more than 1 year.

In August 2021, the Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People’s Committee signed a decision to requisition Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital as a hospital to treat mild and asymptomatic Covid-19 patients. However, up to now, it has not been able to accept patients infected with Covid-19.
