On the morning of May 21, Nguyen Tran Minh Khang wore a police uniform (Security system) and accompanied Huynh Thanh Trong to 3 households in Bau Nang commune, Duong Minh Chau district to collect money for road construction. Khang and Trong collected 200,000 VND from 2 households.
At 11:30 on May 21, Khang and Trong went to Thanh Dat pawn shop to check the documents of this establishment, and were about to collect money when they were discovered and arrested.
The seized exhibits include cash of VND 477 thousand, a motorbike with a license plate 70KA – 02016, a kepi hat, 2 jaw flaps, a pair of lieutenant’s shoulder pads, a color police uniform of the Security system, and 6 printed forms. emergency search warrant form and related exhibits.
Because Nguyen Tran Minh Khang and Huynh Thanh Trong committed violations in Bau Nang commune, Hiep Ninh ward police transferred Bau Nang commune police to handle according to their competence.
