Vinamilk started construction of a complex of farms, factories combining tourism with more than VND 3,000 billion

Moc Chau Dairy Cow Breeding Joint Stock Company (Moc Chau Milk) and Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) launched and kicked off the project of Moc Chau Dairy Paradise Complex. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The complex of Moc Chau dairy paradise is a closed agricultural ecosystem, including a high-tech dairy farm combining eco-tourism and a high-tech milk processing factory. The project has a planned area of ​​150 hectares and a total investment of 1,000 billion VND, expected to complete phase 1 in 2024. This is one of the projects on high-tech agriculture with investment scale. the largest ever, following the model of “Milk Paradise” pioneered by Vinamilk and Moc Chau Milk introduced in Vietnam.

Sharing about the vision of the project, Ms. Mai Kieu Lien, Vinamilk’s General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Moc Chau Milk, said that the project complex with ecological farms, high-tech dairy cows and milk processing factories is currently Modern, international standards will be the nucleus to develop the local dairy industry and make Moc Chau milk brand grow stronger.

“The special project in Moc Chau is expected not only to turn this place into the capital of the Northern dairy industry, but also to create a unique and unprecedented economic model that is animal husbandry. This is identified as a strategic project of Vinamilk and Moc Chau Milk, changing the face of the traditional dairy farming industry in the locality. region, becoming a highlight of tourism and economy in Moc Chau, Son La”, emphasized Ms. Mai Kieu Lien.

The project consists of two main items. In particular, a high-tech dairy farm with a herd of 4,000 dairy cows, with an investment of 700 billion VND, is expected to provide 20 million liters of fresh milk per year as raw materials for the dairy factory. The farm uses modern technology, machinery and equipment are invested to meet the latest European and American standards, meeting international standards, saving fuel and being environmentally friendly.

The tourist area, ecological landscape, grassland with an investment of 300 billion VND, includes utilities, cultural and art works, experience in understanding dairy farming activities, contributing to introducing culture and history. , local specialties and promote Moc Chau Milk brand. The large pasture area connects to the farm, providing a source of fresh, international-standard feed ingredients for 4,000 dairy cows.

In addition, Moc Chau Milk also invested an additional 150 billion VND to upgrade and expand the scale of the existing Moc Chau 2 Dairy Cow Breeding Center from up to 2,000 dairy cows, helping to increase the source of raw milk and breeding animals. domestic market.

The second item is Moc Chau high-tech milk processing factory, with an area of ​​​​26 hectares, the total investment of this factory in 2 phases is VND 2,000 billion, with an estimated design capacity of nearly 500 tons of milk per day. (phase 1 and can be raised to 1,000 tons a day in phase 2).

The factory is designed with a green architectural model in accordance with the natural landscape of Moc Chau; comprehensive application of 4.0 technology in management and operation systems with international standards. The factory will also be invested with advanced technologies to help protect the ecological environment, save resources, and ensure targets for sustainable development.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Son La province expected that the project, after going into operation, would bring benefits to investors, contributing to improving the production value of the processing industry and the export value of goods. of the province, creating more jobs and income for local workers, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. “According to the direction of circular economy, green economy, digital economy, fast and sustainable development, Son La province will coordinate with Vinamilk to continue focusing resources in the project development process,” the provincial representative said. In early 2020, Moc Chau Milk officially became a member of Vinamilk. The Moc Chau Milk Paradise Complex project converges the strengths from more than 65 years of attachment and development of dairy cows of Moc Chau Milk, along with the financial resources, management and experience of Vinamilk in building 13 factories and 13 dairy farms across the country. Among them, the prominent models are Dairy Cow Resort 4.0, Vinamilk Green Farm Ecological Farm.
