This is a closed and modern agricultural ecosystem consisting of a high-tech dairy farm combining eco-tourism and a high-tech dairy processing factory.

The Prime Minister together with delegates and leaders of Vinamilk and Moc Chau Milk performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the Moc Chau Milk Paradise Complex.

At the event, Vinamilk and Moc Chau Milk officially started construction for the category “Moc Chau high-tech dairy cows and ecological farm” and received the decision to approve the investment policy for the category of public dairy processing factory. Moc Chau High-tech, marking an important milestone and officially starting to build the Moc Chau Milk Paradise Complex.

“Milk heaven” on Moc Chau steppe

Over 65 years of establishment and development, Moc Chau Milk Company has attached itself to local people to develop the dairy industry and contribute to making Moc Chau milk brand familiar to consumers nationwide. . From the beginning of 2020, after Vinamilk successfully carried out the merger and acquisition, Moc Chau Milk officially became a member of Vinamilk. Two big names in the dairy industry have spent more than 2 years researching and forming a project called “Moc Chau Milk Paradise Complex” with a total investment of up to 3,150 billion VND.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the delegation listened to an introduction about the project complex with an investment capital of more than 3,000 billion VND of Vinamilk and Moc Chau Milk.

The Moc Chau Milk Paradise Complex project converges the strengths from the more than 65 years of attachment and development of dairy farming of Moc Chau Milk and the financial resources, management and experience of Vinamilk in building dairy farming. successfully built 13 factories and 13 dairy farms across the country, in which there are special models such as European Standard Organic Dairy Farm, 4.0 Dairy Cow Resort, Vinamilk Green Farm Ecological Farm.

It can be said that this is one of the projects on high-tech agriculture with the largest investment scale ever and also the first “milk paradise” model introduced by Vinamilk and Moc Chau Milk in Vietnam. Male.

Ms. Mai Kieu Lien, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of Vinamilk and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Moc Chau Milk spoke about strategic directions for the project.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Mai Kieu Lien, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of Vinamilk and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Moc Chau Milk said: “The project is expected to complete phase 1 in 2024. The project complex with an ecological farm, high-tech dairy cows and a modern, international-standard dairy processing plant will be the nucleus for development. local dairy industry and make Moc Chau milk brand grow stronger. We believe that with this project, a new chapter will be opened in the development journey of the “milk paradise” land in Moc Chau, Son La.”

High-tech agricultural ecosystem goes hand in hand with sustainable development

Based on the target orientation of developing tourism in Moc Chau in association with the agricultural development strategy of Son La province, in which the dairy industry is the mainstay, Vinamilk and Moc Chau Milk have built a “Natural Complex”. Moc Chau Milk Sugar” as a closed ecosystem from agricultural production to high-tech dairy processing coupled with sustainable development, combining eco-tourism to preserve and promote the values ​​of nature. Grassland is the identity of Moc Chau plateau. Specifically, the complex includes 2 main items:

“Moc Chau high-tech dairy and eco-farm” is a model of high-tech dairy farm combined with eco-tourism with a planned area of ​​150 hectares, total estimated investment capital of 1,000 billion VND. , including:

The high-tech dairy farm has a herd of 4,000 dairy cows, with an investment of 700 billion VND, and is expected to provide 20 million liters of fresh milk per year as raw materials for the dairy factory. The farm uses modern technology, machinery and equipment is invested to meet the latest European and American standards, meeting international standards, saving fuel and being environmentally friendly.

The tourist area, ecological landscape, grassland with an investment of 300 billion VND, includes utilities, cultural and art works, experience in understanding dairy farming activities, contributing to introducing culture and history. , local specialties and promote Moc Chau Milk brand. The large pasture area connects to the farm, providing a source of fresh, international-standard feed ingredients for 4,000 dairy cows.

In addition, Moc Chau Milk also invested an additional 150 billion VND to upgrade and expand the existing Moc Chau 2 Dairy Cow Breeding Center to 2,000 dairy cows, helping to increase the source of raw milk and breeding animals for the market. domestic school.

Moc Chau high-tech milk processing factory, with an area of ​​26 hectares, the total investment in 2 phases of this factory is 2,000 billion VND, with an estimated design capacity of nearly 500 tons of milk/day (phase 1). and can increase to 1,000 tons of milk/day in phase 2).

The factory is designed with a green architectural model in accordance with the natural landscape of Moc Chau; comprehensive application of 4.0 technology in management and operation systems with international standards. The factory will also be invested with advanced technologies to help protect the ecological environment, save resources, and ensure targets for sustainable development.

Directing the project implementation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized on the tasks of Vinamilk, Moc Chau Milk and Son La province: “The first is to develop a circular economy, where all fields must be circular and interconnected. The second is to develop a green economy and protect the environment. This is a very high requirement because Moc Chau Plateau is not only developing livestock but also connecting with tourism, animal husbandry connecting with industry, high-tech industry, post-harvest technology. Therefore, the environmental protection requirements for the livestock sector are very high and the costs are high, but I am sure that Vinamilk will do it, with the mindset of Labor Hero Mai Kieu Lien, who has spent many years paying tribute. Donating to the dairy industry, plus the experience I have done in other places, I believe that I will definitely be able to do it in Son La”.

The project complex “Moc Chau Milk Paradise” was developed and built by Vinamilk and Moc Chau Milk as a closed ecosystem from agricultural production to high-tech milk processing, combining eco-tourism according to regulations. sustainable development direction. The project has a total investment of 3150 billion VND on a planned area of ​​176ha in Moc Chau district, Son La province.
