Vietnam’s ‘scar-covering witch’ reached the top of Forbes Under 30 Asia

Bich Ngoc is also known as Ngoc Like, long known in the tattoo art world for her talent in tattooing to cover scars for women. Ngoc graduated with a Master’s degree in Film and Television Arts from Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema. Before that, she was also the output valedictorian of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Ngoc believes that painting and tattoo art have a close relationship and complement each other to create a work of art.

At the age of 19, she studied and entered the tattoo profession with the belief that each tattoo that conceals a woman’s flaws will help them open another page of life.

Not only is she remembered as an excellent tattooist, but Bich Ngoc is also considered a person who helped eliminate prejudices about tattoo art. She had to put aside social prejudices to pursue this job, even the fear of her loved ones.

During 9 years of working, Ngoc always believes in the meaning of the work she pursues. Stories about the lives of customers make Ngoc feel proud of what she has contributed to.

Along with Tran Thi Bich Ngoc, participating in the list of 300 typical young faces under the age of 30 in Asia in 2022, there are 6 representatives of Vietnam, including: Nguyen The Vinh (CEO Coin98 – financial sector), Le Yen Thanh (CEO Phenikaa MaaS), Nguyen Van Thanh (Vice General Director of VinBus), Uyen Tran (founder of TomTex) – all in the industry, manufacturing and energy sectors, Phillip An (Co-founder of Homebase) – consumer technology sector. The best candidates are selected from 4,000 applicants across the Asia-Pacific region.
