Mysterious plane crossed the airspace of 4 European countries

The above information was announced by the Romanian Ministry of Defense on June 9.

“A small twin-engined Beechcraft aircraft, with two people on board, flew at low altitude over Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria on the evening of June 8. It showed no signs of hostility.” – Romanian Ministry of Defense said.

The plane’s pilot did not answer questions via radio and did not respond to signals from planes monitoring it based on international rules.

The plane took off from the city of Debrecen – Hungary at about 17:30 pm on June 8, without a flight plan and turned off the transceiver. It was initially tracked by two Hungarian Air Force fighters before entering Romanian airspace. Here, the aircraft continued to be monitored by the US Air Force and the Romanian Air Force. The plane then entered Bulgarian airspace.

“Bulgarian authorities are investigating the area where the target was last seen in order to learn about the aircraft and determine more details,” the Romanian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

According to the Romanian Defense Ministry, the plane had “Lithuania markings” on the fuselage as it headed from Slovakia to Romania, along the Oradea, Caransebes and Drobeta-Turnu Severin routes. The plane landed in the town of Hajduszoboszlo – Hungary to refuel, then took off again.
